ABOUT THE WORK

• I have been making paintings of places I have visited on road trips
  since 1992 when I became interested in this subject matter on trips to
  visit my mom and sister in Prescott Arizona. Many of the subjects
  that I have painted are abandoned and many of them are no longer
  standing.
• I have been interested in painting abandoned buildings, train cars, hot
  rods, motel signs, and related subjects that attract my attention,
  focusing on the wear and tear on these objects subjected to the
  ravages of time, nature, and rust.
